This is a very spiny and prickly herb found almost in all parts of India in wastelands.The seeds of this plant look like mustard seeds.The flowers are yellow and the veins are white.It is poisonous to cattle and so the animals avoid grazing the leaves.

Tamil: Kudiyotti
Sanskrit : Swarna kshiri (because of the yellow sap secretion-swarna-gold kshiri-sap)
Telugu: Bramhadandi.

This plant has many medicinal properties .It is used for treating eye disorders,skin ailments and also used for men's health problems.
