Raisins for alcohol dependence

Eating ~10gm raisins will decrease the urge to drink alcohol and also nourishes the nervous system. A sherbet made from the raisins has a similar beneficial effect.The dirt must be cleaned off well before intake.

Alcohol dependence is a major problem in the youth today and definitely not a good sign for the future. It can cause many long term problems like  liver cirrhosis,depression,impotence,dementia,insomnia,high B.P and many others.

Drinking alcohol and smoking can erode the health slowly.
This simple tip helps a person to overcome this addiction problem and also reverses the effects caused by alcoholism and smoking to a great extent.
Boil Ajwain seeds (thymol) with cardamom powder in water.Filter and cool and store. 200 ml of this decoction is taken along with meals twice a day  .This will help a person to regain his health and give up the habits. (250 gm of ajwain can be mixed with 5 gm of cardamom in 1 liter of water).

This plant has many medicinal properties and used extensively in Ayurveda and the Western medicine.It is used for coughs ,colds,as a soother for intestines,for treating urinary problems,for nerve related problems and many more.
Generally the root is used for the medicine.

The root is available in all Ayurvedic shops.A small piece is kept under the cheek and sucked on for 3-4 hours.This discourages the person from chewing betel leaves or tobacco or consuming alcohol or smoking cigarettes.Slowly these habits which spoil the health of a person will disappear .

A word of caution:
People suffering from high B.P and kidney patients and pregnant ladies should avoid consuming excess athimadhuram.
