Methi leaves for heel pain

Fenugreek leaves are steamed in a double boiler. The warm leaves are wrapped around the heels with a thin muslin cloth. This poultice can be left for half an hour. This relieves the heel pain considerably.

This poultice can also be used for reducing the pain and swelling caused by arthritis.

A bright complexion with methi leaves

Fenugreek aka methi leaves are washed well and made into a paste. The complexion improves naturally when this paste is applied on the face for a while and washed off. This also gradually brightens the face.

Buttermilk for nose bleeding

A good tip for excess sweating problem



Shisham tree ( Dalbergia sissoo) aka Indian Rosewood tree is a fairly common tree in India. 5-7 leaves are cleaned well and pounded. Drinking the juice will reduce the sweating of the palms and soles and generally decreases the sweat problem.
 In case the sweat is foul smelling 5-7 bel leaves(aegle marmelos) also can be pounded along with the Sisham leaves and taken.
This can be done for 4-5 days.
Pregnant ladies must avoid this tip.

Benefits of wheat bran

Wheat bran aka chokar or bhusi of wheat is very high in fiber and is very beneficial for people having sugar problems,high B.P and constipation. It can be consumed in various forms and 20 gm per day for an adult seems to be a safe dosage. It can be powdered and added along with the regular wheat flour. This purifies the blood and makes a person more energetic and eliminates many problems in the body.

It is advisable to start using 5 gm a day and slowly increase the dosage.
